Description: O-iodobenzoic acid is a chemical with a molecular formula C7H5IO2 and a molecular weight of 248.02. It usually appears as a white or microstrip colored needle-like crystal or crystalline powder with a melting point between 160 and 164 degrees Celsius. O-iodobenzoic acid is soluble in alcohol and ether, insoluble in water, and has a good solubility in some solvents.
